Taco Group Holdings Inc. Acquires Askoll Sei S.r.l.

January 5, 2016 - Morrison Cohen client Taco Group Holdings Inc. announced that on January 1, 2016, it acquired Askoll Sei S.r.l., an Italian manufacturer of high efficiency pumps, motors and other electrical equipment for the heating, cooling and plumbing industries, from Askoll Holding S.r.l. The company will be renamed Taco Italia s.r.l. The acquisition provides Taco with the most advanced technology available for producing high efficiency pumps for hydronic applications (already mandated in Europe and soon to be required in the USA), a distribution infrastructure to sell its products throughout Europe, and an opportunity, with the added technology, to compete throughout its product lines with its much larger competitors, around the world.

Morrison Cohen handled the transaction on Taco's behalf with the able assistance of NCTM Studio Legale in Milan. No further details were disclosed regarding the acquisition.
