Taco, Inc. Acquires Hydroflo Pumps

Taco, Inc., a leading supplier of advanced equipment and systems for use in HVAC applications, has announced its purchase of Hydroflo Pumps USA, Inc., a Tennessee-based manufacturer of vertical and submersible turbine driven pumps used in a range of industries, including agricultural irrigation, mining, municipal water supply and HVAC.

Taco, Inc. is a privately owned and operated company supplying a variety of hydronic-based equipment and systems for use in residential, commercial and institutional buildings across the U.S. and Canada and in Central America, the Caribbean, the Middle East, and elsewhere.

Morrison Cohen LLP represented Taco, Inc. in connection with the transaction, which includes the purchase of Hydroflo Pumps USA, Inc., its Chinese-based purchasing agent, and its Panama-based affiliate.  Further details of the transaction were not disclosed.
