Morrison Cohen Represents Management Team of Full Swing in Sale to Versant
Congratulations to Full Swing, a leading sports technology company, on the company's sale to Versant Media Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: VSNT) in a transaction valued at approximately $530 million. Morrison Cohen represented Full Swing's management team in connection with the transaction, advising on executive compensation and management equity matters.
Founded in 1986, Full Swing is an industry leader in sports technology, known for its premium golf simulators, launch monitors and immersive multi-sport experiences used by consumers, professional athletes, coaches and commercial venues worldwide. The company's technology is trusted by some of the biggest names in sports and serves as the Official Licensed Simulator of the PGA TOUR and an Official Technology Partner of TGL presented by SoFi.
Versant will acquire Full Swing from Bruin Capital and a group of minority investors, adding the company's interactive sports platform to its growing portfolio of media, sports and entertainment businesses. The acquisition expands Versant's capabilities in immersive play, training, entertainment and performance data, while positioning Full Swing for continued growth as part of Versant's Digital Platforms and Ventures business.
