Morrison Cohen LLP Promotes Two Associates to Senior Counsel

Congratulations to Michael Oppenheimer and Benjamin Vitcov on being promoted to senior counsel in our Executive Compensation & Employee Benefits Practice, effective January 1, 2023.

Michael counsels clients in a wide array of corporate transactions, including equity compensation programs, incentive and deferred compensation arrangements, employment agreements, separation and settlement agreements and other employment-related documents. He handles tax, corporate governance and change in control issues, as well as issues relating to the scope and enforcement of restrictive covenants.

Benny advises clients on employment and compensation matters pertaining to corporate transactions, such as mergers and acquisitions and restructurings. He represents and advises both employers and individuals in negotiating and drafting employment, consulting, retention, termination, change-in-control, severance, non-competition, non-solicitation and confidentiality agreements, as well as equity-based compensation and short- and long-term incentive compensation arrangements.
