Maria B. Massimo Joins Morrison Cohen

Morrison Cohen welcomes Associate Maria B. Massimo, who joins the firm in our Business Litigation Practice. Maria focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation, securities litigation, white collar defense and government investigations.

She has represented public and private companies, real estate investment trusts, boards of directors, board committees and individuals.

Prior to joining Morrison Cohen, Maria was an associate in the Complex Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice Group at Goodwin Procter. During that time, she completed a six-month secondment with the Kings County District Attorney's Office, serving as a Special Assistant District Attorney and prosecuting numerous felony and misdemeanor cases.

Maria earned a J.D., cum laude, from Boston College Law School, where she was senior editor of the Boston College Law School Law Review, and a B.A., cum laude, from Villanova University.

During law school, she served as a judicial intern to Magistrate Judge Marianne Bowler of the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts and as a legal intern with the Civil Division of the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of New York.
