Alana Mildner Smolow handles a broad spectrum of employment law matters, including all phases of employment litigation in state and federal courts.
Alana is fully experienced in the defense of claims brought under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), and all other federal, state, and local laws governing the workplace. She also advises clients in various industries in all facets of compliance with a broad spectrum of workplace laws, including the New York State and New York City Human Rights Laws.
Prior to joining Morrison Cohen LLP, Alana was an associate in the Employment & Labor Group at Wilson Elser Moskowitz Edelman & Dicker LLP and, before that, obtained broad trial experience while serving as assistant corporation counsel at the New York City Law Department, Labor & Employment Law Division.
