Saxe (ret.), a former Associate Justice of the Appellate Division, First Department, was recently quoted in an important article in the New York Law Journal titled “1st Dept Reduction of Argument Days Spotlights Judge Shortage; Cuomo Urged to Act” on November 21, 2019. The article dealt with the problems occurring on the Appellate Division, First Department due to continuing judicial vacancies there.
