April 23, 2019 - Morrison Cohen client North Castle Partners made an investment in Maya Kaimal Foods, an Indian food company. Maya Kaimal Foods, founded by award winning cookbook author Maya Kaimal, has a product line sold nationwide, including Whole Foods Market, Safeway-Albertsons, Target and Costco. North Castle is partnering with Maya Kaimal Foods to expand the offering of products to consumers seeking global and Indian inspired flavors. North Castle Partners is a leading private equity firm focused on consumer businesses that promote healthy, active and sustainable living. Morrison Cohen represented North Castle Partners in the investment.
