Niya Ge Joins Morrison Cohen

Morrison Cohen LLP welcomes Associate Niya Ge to our Tax Practice, where she advises employers, lenders, investors, and fiduciaries on matters relating to tax and business law.

Prior to joining Morrison Cohen, Niya served as in-house counsel at Maximus Federal Services, an independent organization that evaluates Medicare appeals, where she provided internal consultation regarding regulatory and project rule compliance, as well as investigated whistleblower allegations. She was previously a commercial litigation associate at Foley & Mansfield, PLLP in Minneapolis.

Niya served as a judicial extern for The Hon. Thomas R. Mulroy in the Circuit Court of Cook County, Illinois, and was a legal extern for the Illinois Innocence Project. Niya received an LL.M. in Taxation from New York University School of Law, a J.D., magna cum laude, from University of Illinois College Of Law, and a Bachelor of Design from OCAD University in Toronto.
