Morrison Cohen Welcomes Chief Financial Officer Victor Barkalov

Morrison Cohen welcomes Victor Barkalov as Chief Financial Officer, where he will play a central role in strengthening the firm’s financial, operational and digital foundations and advancing long-term fiscal sustainability.

With experience spanning finance, information systems and operations, Victor approaches organizational challenges with a focus on practical, data-informed solutions that enhance efficiency and improve client service.

Prior to joining Morrison Cohen, Victor served as Chief Financial Officer at a major national law firm, where he led initiatives integrating finance, technology and process improvement. His professional interests include data analytics, operational excellence, digital transformation, knowledge management and the evolving role of artificial intelligence in professional services.

Victor is a Certified Public Accountant and an attorney licensed in New York State. He received an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School, a J.D. from Seton Hall Law School and a B.S. in Information Systems, Mathematics, and Operations from New York University Stern School of Business.
