Morrison Cohen Promotes Michael Balducci, Bryan Joggerst, and David J. Kozlowski to Senior Counsel

Morrison Cohen is pleased to announce that we have promoted three of our attorneys, Michael Balducci, Bryan Joggerst, and David J. Kozlowski, to senior counsel, effective January 1, 2022. “We are lucky to have Michael, Bryan, and Dave and delighted to promote them to senior counsel,” said Co-Managing Partner Steven Cooperman. “They have each gone above and beyond in their development as lawyers and in their dedication to client service.”

Michael Balducci is a senior counsel in Morrison Cohen's Real Estate Department, where he brings more than a decade of experience to commercial real estate transactions. Clients such as institutional and traditional mortgage and mezzanine lenders turn to Michael for counsel in real estate finance transactions, including multi-property and multi-state acquisitions and refinancing pertaining to office buildings, shopping centers, hotels, mixed-use properties, and multi-family properties, joint ventures, preferred equity investments, and commercial leasing. In addition, privately and publicly-held companies seek Michael’s corporate counsel in formation, capital raising, governance, mergers and acquisitions, and compliance under the federal and state securities laws.

Bryan Joggerst is a senior counsel in Morrison Cohen’s Corporate Department. Clients such as operating companies, private equity firms, strategic investors, and portfolio companies turn to Bryan for counsel in a wide range of activities, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, equity financings, and other complex corporate transactions. Randi Mason, co-chair of the Corporate Department, noted, “Bryan is a fantastic attorney who provides his clients with exceptional service. We could not be more excited about his promotion to senior counsel.”

David J. Kozlowski is a senior counsel in Morrison Cohen’s Business Solutions, Restructuring & Governance Practice, where he assists companies in navigating business and insolvency concerns, and litigates related issues in major markets throughout the country. Large, multi-national corporations and smaller, closely-held companies in various industries rely on Dave’s counsel in some of the nation’s largest bankruptcy cases and other distressed situations.
