Morrison Cohen Obtains Dismissal of Fraud and Related Charges Against Condominium Sponsor
Feburary 12, 2021 - Morrison Cohen Partners Christopher Milito and Y. David Scharf convinced a Manhattan Supreme Court judge to dismiss claims brought against the developer of a luxury condominium on Union Square West. The condominium’s complaint alleged fraud, negligence, and unjust enrichment arising from alleged construction defects at the building, which overlooks Union Square from the historic former site of the original Tiffany & Co. store.
The action is captioned Board of Managers of the 15 Union Square West Condominium v. BCRE 15 Union Square West LLC, et al.
