Jason Gottlieb Quoted in Bloomberg Law on Increase in Crypto Litigation
Jason Gottlieb, Partner & Chair of our White Collar and Regulatory Enforcement Group, was quoted in a May 17, 2022 Bloomberg Law article entitled “Crypto Lawsuit Explosion Has Big Law Scrambling to Keep Up,” which discusses how the rise in cryptocurrency-related litigation has prompted Big Law to bolster their crypto practices.
In the article, which cites data from Morrison Cohen’s Cryptocurrency Litigation Tracker, Jason is quoted as saying, “There’s been a steady stream of cases from regulators, but what’s really exploded is private litigation.” The article discusses the types of lawsuits that are keeping firms busy, and the interdisciplinary nature of crypto practices.
Morrison Cohen is the only mid-size law firm featured alongside several major law firms that also are involved in crypto-related matters, including Jenner & Block, Goodwin Procter, Morrison & Foerster, Perkins Coie, Latham & Watkins, and K&L Gates.
