Daria Schieferstein Joins Morrison Cohen

Morrison Cohen welcomes Associate Daria Schieferstein, who joins the firm in our Government Strategies & Controversies Practice, where she focuses on a range of matters involving government relations, public policy, white collar and regulatory issues, and government controversies.

Her experience includes representing clients in government investigations and trials involving wire and mail fraud, bank fraud and bid-rigging, as well as cooperation proceedings. She has also represented a wide range of clients in civil proceedings involving breach of contract, business torts, privacy and Section 230 class actions and insurance coverage disputes.

Prior to joining Morrison Cohen, Daria was an associate at Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo, P.C. and was previously an associate at Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel LLP. She also served as a judicial clerk to the Honorable Robert W. Lehrburger, Magistrate Judge of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.

Daria holds a J.D., cum laude, from Fordham University School of Law. While in law school, she interned in the Civil Division of the United States Attorney’s Office in the Eastern District of New York and in the Litigation Bureau of the New York Attorney General’s Office. She holds a B.A. from Vassar College.
