Danielle Lesser was quoted on 9/15/21 in Crain’s New York Business about the incorporating of pandemic clauses in retail leases.

In the article, entitled "Retail leases are getting padded with pandemic protections, Danielle notes, “It all comes down to who should bear the economic risk of a pandemic… Malls that attract a lot of foot traffic are better positioned to resist those provisions and retail tenants who have the ability to control a lot of square footage in various malls are also coming from a position of strength."
