In the article, entitled "Retail leases are getting padded with pandemic protections," Danielle notes, “It all comes down to who should bear the economic risk of a pandemic… Malls that attract a lot of foot traffic are better positioned to resist those provisions and retail tenants who have the ability to control a lot of square footage in various malls are also coming from a position of strength.”
