Christopher Milito Quoted in NY Post on Rent Dispute
Morrison Cohen Partner Christopher Milito was quoted in the article “Wealthy 'Jersey Boys' producer owes over $30K in rent, lawsuit claims” (“Justice Is Blinds” in the print edition) that appeared on July 25, 2020 in the New York Post. The article details the claims surrounding unpaid rent which began after the landlord, David Juracich, provided notice to the now former tenant, Kevin Kinsella, a Broadway producer, to vacate a Nolita property since Mr. Juracich intended to place the apartment on the market for sale. Christopher, who represents Mr. Juracich, offers his perspective on the dispute which was filed in state court.
“It's unfortunate that this case had to come to court. Big egos and small dollar amounts lend themselves to unnecessary fights. Thankfully, New York has an exceptionally professional judiciary who we expect will quickly see the merits of our client's claim.”
