Chaim Bueno Presents on Lease Provisions at ICSC+U.S. Law Conference
Real Estate Counsel Chaim Bueno presented the workshop “Repair and Maintenance Provisions: Could Your Standard Lease Provisions Use a Fresh Coat of Paint?” at the ICSC+U.S. Law Conference, held October 8–10, 2025, in San Diego.
Chaim and co-presenter Lisa Cahn of Gresham Cahn LLC, explored one of the most overlooked, but critical, aspects of commercial leases: repair and maintenance provisions. They shared best practices for drafting and negotiating these clauses, analyzing sample provisions and real-world scenarios to demonstrate how clear allocation of responsibilities can help avoid costly disputes.
