Vani Upadhyaya focuses her practice on regulatory enforcement, litigation, and arbitration relating to cryptocurrencies and securities. Her clients also rely on her counsel in complex commercial litigation matters such as contract disputes, insurance coverage actions, IP litigation (including trademark/trade dress infringement), declaratory judgment actions, commercial mortgage foreclosures and construction defect cases.

Vani was previously a litigation associate at Ford Marrin Esposito Witmeyer & Gleser, LLP, where her trial experience included serving as second-chair of a bench trial in New York County Supreme Court, Commercial Division, where she represented an investor in a blockchain company that brought individual and derivative claims for breach of fiduciary duty.

Vani received her J.D. from Fordham University School of Law, where she was a member of the Fordham Law Review and on the board of Fordham Law Moot Court. She received her B.A. from Fordham University at Lincoln Center, where she was a member of Pi Sigma Alpha Honor Society and president of the South Asian Culture Club. Outside of her law practice, Vani is professionally certified in Indian classical dance and active in the Stuyvesant High School Alumni Mentoring Program.
