Christopher Zepf focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation in federal and state courts, as well as arbitration.

Chris represents public and private companies in a broad range of matters, including contractual disputes, claims under Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), large-scale class actions and tort claims in New York state courts. His experience includes handling dispositive motions, taking and defending depositions, managing complex document discovery, supporting expert development and representing clients at court conferences, hearings, mediations and arbitrations.

Prior to joining Morrison Cohen, Chris was an associate in the Business & Tort Litigation Practice Group at Jones Day. He previously worked as a summer associate at Atsumi & Sakai in Tokyo and is proficient in Japanese.

Prior to joining Morrison Cohen:

  • Sirius XM in a putative TCPA class action challenging the legality of Sirius XM’s telemarketing practices and alleging hundreds of millions of dollars in statutory damages.
  • Bank of America in a putative class action brought by victims of Jeffrey Epstein.
  • Experian in connection with a multitude of FCRA cases brought by consumers alleging inaccurate reporting of information on their credit reports.
  • Zoro Tools, Inc. in litigation regarding alleged copyright violations relating to product images supplied by a third party.
  • The Diocese of Rockville Centre in connection with its 2020 bankruptcy and related litigation in state and federal court.A major bank in connection with pre-litigation strategy regarding a large commercial real estate foreclosure.
