Bobby Codjoe, Esq. (he/him/his) spearheads the firm’s efforts to foster a workplace culture that values differences and promotes a sense of belonging for all professionals. Bobby collaborates with various departments within the firm to design and implement strategies, programs and initiatives that drive and support inclusivity throughout the organization. He is committed to advancing diversity, equity and inclusion in the legal profession and beyond, and regularly partners with external organizations to further these efforts.

Prior to joining Morrison Cohen, Bobby held key leadership roles at several prominent institutions. In his most recent role at another major law firm, Bobby served as Manager of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, where he played a crucial role in implementing DEI operations and objectives across all 12 global offices. He utilized his extensive knowledge of best practices to drive initiatives focused on recruitment, professional development, talent management and marketing. Previously, as Director of the Office of Diversity and Inclusion at Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, Bobby led the implementation of DEI efforts from the framework to execution.

Before his leadership roles, Bobby served as an associate counsel in the Legal Affairs Bureau of the New York City Fire Department, where he handled matters involving bias, discrimination and other forms of misconduct. He began his legal career as a trial attorney at the Legal Aid Society.
