as Firm's New Chairs and Co-Managing Partners

NEW YORK – January 16, 2020 – Morrison Cohen LLP is pleased to announce that Steven M. Cooperman and Y. David Scharf have become the firm's new chairs and co-managing partners, effective today.

Cooperman, a partner in the firm's corporate department, and Scharf, a partner in the business litigation department, were elected by the firm's partnership in September to lead the firm. They succeed David A. Scherl, who becomes chairman emeritus and of counsel after serving as the firm's chairman and managing partner for more than 17 years.
