Y. David Scharf Quoted in Article on Demise of the Department of Labor’s Fiduciary Rule

June 28, 2018 – Morrison Cohen Partner Y. David Scharf is quoted in the article “DOL's Fiduciary Rule Officially Shelved” that appeared on Investopedia on June 26, 2018.

David is quoted along with several industry leaders that despite the court vacating the fiduciary rule there are positives for the investor. “The investing consumer is a more aware consumer and can better look out for themselves," he said.  "Many of the big and reputable investment banks and advisors have said they will keep their fiduciary rule standard for the advice they provide, even though it can no longer be enforced, as a way to promote customer confidence."
