Run, Inc. Acquired by Publicis Groupe
Morrison Cohen represented Run, Inc., an industry leading programmatic advertising technology provider, in its acquisition by Publicis Groupe, one of the world's largest ad agency holding companies, for an undisclosed sum. In its first ad-tech buy, the acquisition is designed to aid Publicis agencies in targeting and tracking online advertising more effectively, especially in mobile, and help it achieve its expectations of earning 50% of its revenue from digital by 2018. Run retained its name, management team and structure and operates as a standalone unit within Publicis Groupe. In 2013, the firm represented Run in a $1.5 million Series A funding from Verizon Investments LLC, a subsidiary of Verizon Communications Inc.
