On March 11, 2021, President Biden signed into law the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021. Employers are now subject to the law’s various provisions, including a 100 percent subsidy under the Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1985 (COBRA) for eligible employees for up to six months.
