July 14, 2020 - On June 5, 2020, the President signed into law the Paycheck Protection Flexibility Act of 2020, which amends the Paycheck Protection Program established under the CARES Act. While immensely popular, the PPP has also been criticized for being quite restrictive in how and when the PPP loan proceeds could be spent. The PPP Flexibility Act relaxes some of the key restrictions and gives borrowers more time and flexibility to use their PPP loan proceeds. Our client alert discusses the latest changes.
