Morrison Cohen Wins M&A Deal of the Year Award for Client’s Purchase of Williamsburg Hotel

We are proud to share that Morrison Cohen was awarded the “Global Special Situation M&A Deal of the Year” by Global M&A Network for the firm’s work as bankruptcy counsel on the purchase of the Williamsburg Hotel (now Arlo Williamsburg) by our client, Quadrum Development. The award was presented at the 15th Annual M&A Atlas Awards Gala on January 30, 2024.

Partners Joseph T. Moldovan and David J. Kozlowski represented Quadrum in its $96 million purchase of Brooklyn’s Williamsburg Hotel at bankruptcy auction. The trendy 147-key property, located at 96 Wythe Avenue, was sold to the London-based hospitality firm after a complicated three-year bankruptcy process.

Global M&A Network’s prestigious M&A Atlas Awards recognize the achievements of successful dealmakers, outstanding firms and the best-growth delivering transactions. View the full list of M&A Atlas Awards winners here.
