Congratulations to Transmit.Live, a market-leading streaming advertising technology platform, in connection with an investment from an investor group led by LionTree, a global merchant bank focused on media and technology, in partnership with existing investor SC Holdings. The investment will accelerate Transmit’s growth as the leading connected TV advertising solution for live streaming entertainment and sports content.
This significant transaction was covered in several press outlets, including a January 5, 2023 Wall Street Journal article, “LionTree Makes Bet on Streaming Ads in LiveSports,” which explained that “Transmit allows entertainment companies and leagues not only to insert ad breaks into their content, but also to make incremental ad revenue by offering the capability of running on-screen ads while play is under way.”
