Morrison Cohen Represents Estate in Sale of Adjacent Chelsea Properties

Morrison Cohen recently represented a private estate in the sale of two adjacent properties at 247-251 West 16th Street in New York City’s Chelsea neighborhood. The properties, which encompass a vacant townhome and adjacent commercial loft building, sold for $11.5 million to a best-in-class developer with the intent to replace the buildings with a boutique luxury residential building. The complex transaction was arranged as an estate sale on behalf of a private seller and took nearly two years to close.
