Morrison Cohen LLP Promotes John Fulfree and Gillian Kessler to Senior Counsel

February 10, 2021 - Morrison Cohen LLP is pleased to announce the promotion of John B. Fulfree and Gillian B. Kessler to senior counsel.  
 
John is a member of the Labor & Employment Law Department, where he regularly litigates, counsels, and advises businesses and individuals in a wide range of labor and employment, and litigation matters. He has over a decade of experience representing clients in the tech, retail, finance, hospitality, and service industries. John has handled matters in federal, state, and appellate courts, as well as matters at the administrative and agency level, including employer audits and investigations by the New York State Department of Labor and Workers’ Compensation Board. John frequently advises clients concerning critical issues pertaining to worker classification, trade secrets, restrictive covenants, and intellectual property rights, among other employment-related issues.

Gillian is a member of the Real Estate Department, where she regularly advises purchasers, sellers, owners, investors, and lenders on a wide array of real estate matters. Gillian’s practice focuses on a variety of commercial real estate transactions, including leasing for both landlords and tenants, with an emphasis on retail and office leasing in New York City and across the country. Gillian also represents clients in the financing of commercial properties such as office buildings, shopping centers, hotels, mixed-use and multi-family properties. She brings a wealth of experience to clients, having worked as an associate as well as in-house for a real estate investment company during her career.
