Morrison Cohen Is Participating in NYSBA 28-Day Racial Equity Challenge
February is Black History Month, a time to give visibility to Black Americans, to reflect on their unique and essential role in our history and society, and to consider how to address the special needs of the community. In order to further our understanding of the African American experience, the Morrison Cohen family is participating in a 28-Day Racial Equity Challenge, issued by the New York State Bar Association’s Committee on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
This month, we encourage our community of lawyers to take one action every day – to seek out programs, podcasts, films, and speakers that feature Black history, culture, and voices. By actively delving into the African American experience in America, we hope to further our understanding and have meaningful conversations as a small yet collective step toward ensuring a future of equity for all.
