Morrison Cohen Achieves Midsize Mansfield Certification for the Second Year
Morrison Cohen is proud to announce that it has achieved Mansfield Certification for the second consecutive year, reinforcing its commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion within the legal profession. The certification, awarded by Diversity Lab, recognizes Morrison Cohen’s efforts and success in pursuing better representation and leadership opportunities for historically underrepresented groups, including women, racial and ethnic minorities, and lawyers in the LGBTQ+ community.
Since holding itself accountable to the Mansfield Certification process last year, Morrison Cohen has taken a systematic and intentional approach to advancing leadership and benefits to all of its employees. The firm holds group knowledge-sharing meetings, has made advancement processes and leadership role descriptions transparent and accessible to all lawyers, and has broadened the pool of talent considered for leadership roles.
“Morrison Cohen’s recommitment to the Mansfield process is a testament to our culture, where we foster a sense of belonging and ensure that everyone feels valued and empowered in the workplace,” said Morrison Cohen COO Jenni Eastman. “We firmly believe that by honoring and advancing professionals with diverse backgrounds, perspectives and experiences, we enhance our own strength and success and better serve our clients and community.”
Morrison Cohen stands alongside 360+ firms that have also achieved Mansfield Certification. The firm looks forward to pursuing certification for the 2024–25 period and continuing to build on the progress it has made.
