Jason Gottlieb to Speak on Panel with CFTC Commissioner
Jason Gottlieb, Partner in Morrison Cohen’s Business Litigation Department and Chair of the White Collar and Regulatory Enforcement Group and Digital Assets Group, will participate on a June 30 panel alongside Caroline D. The panel, entitled “The Future of Stablecoins,” will examine the future of stablecoins, discuss the function of stablecoins in a future digital asset-based financial system, how regulators’ increasing interest in the stablecoin space will shape the future of stablecoins, and how banks, financial institutions, and investors think of stablecoins as both an asset and a liability.
Panelists will also include Trent Barnes, Chief Innovation Officer of Melbourne-based crypto investment firm Zerocap, and Angie Lau, Founder & Editor-in-Chief of Forkast, a digital media platform covering blockchain and crypto at the intersection of business, economy, and politics.
The event, which will take place virtually on June 30, 2022 from 9:00am - 10:00am EDT, is hosted by Forkast as part of its Crypto Rising series.
