Jason Gottlieb to Speak at PLI’s Developments in Decentralized Finance, Digital Money & Market Structure 2026
Morrison Cohen Partner Jason Gottlieb will speak at Practising Law Institute’s (PLI) Developments in Decentralized Finance, Digital Money & Market Structure 2026 on September 23, 2026.
Jason will participate in the panel, “Legal Ethics: Case Studies,” which will examine ethical issues facing lawyers practicing in DeFi and digital assets. The discussion will explore cybersecurity breach response, white hat contributors, user risk appetites, agentic commerce, stablecoin run risk and operational resilience, as well as conflicts of interest when representing multiple protocol participants.
Joining Jason on the panel are Beth Haddock of Warburton Advisers, who will serve as panel leader; Jessi Brooks of Ribbit Capital; and Hector Ivan Velez of Ellipsis Labs.
The session will also address lawyers’ ethical obligations concerning technological competence, client confidentiality and effective communication in the rapidly evolving digital finance landscape.
