Daniel Studin to Address Tax Implications of Charitable Contributions of Art
The New York City Bar Association will host a live webinar on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at 1:30 PM EDT called “Charitable Donations of Art: Advising the Donor and Donee.” The panelists, including Senior Counsel Daniel J. Studin, will guide practitioners through the life cycle of a charitable contribution of art, from the individual donor to the charitable donee.
Daniel will cover income and wealth transfer tax considerations for the art donor and forms of transfer, including fractional interest gifts, split-interest trusts and loans. Daniel will also address tax considerations applicable to the formation of private museums, and guardrails that should be in place in order to reduce IRS scrutiny in their operation.
Full details on this CLE program, including registration information, can be found here.
This webinar will provide transitional and non-transitional credit to all attorneys; members and non-members are welcome to participate.
