Cesar Rodriguez Muñoz Joins Morrison Cohen

Morrison Cohen welcomes Foreign Attorney Cesar Rodriguez Muñoz to our Technology, Data & Intellectual Property Department. Cesar is admitted to practice in the Dominican Republic. Prior to joining Morrison Cohen, Cesar was a corporate associate at Seibel Dargam Henriquez & Herrera in Santo Domingo, where he counseled clients on entity formation and related corporate governance matters and advised in mergers and acquisitions.

At SDH&H, Cesar’s clients included a buyer in the acquisition of the largest website in the Dominican Republic, several major league baseball teams in all aspects of their academy operations in the Dominican Republic, and a representative of a major payment processing company in its implementation of a peer-to-peer payments application.

Prior to practicing corporate law, Cesar was a litigation associate at SDH&H, where he advised and represented individuals and businesses in all stages of commercial litigation, arbitration, and mediation.

Cesar holds an LLM in Law, Technology & Entrepreneurship from Cornell Law School and Cornell Tech; a Master’s in International Commerce Management from Universidad Nacional de Costa Rica (UNA)/ Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo; and a Bachelor of Laws, cum laude, from Universidad Iberoamericana (UNIBE), Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. He is fluent in both English and Spanish.
