Brian Forman Quoted in ACG Middle Market on How Investors are Finding Ways to Recapture Equity
Partner Brian Forman was quoted in an ACG Middle Market article entitled “This Year, Expect LPs to Dial up the Pressure for Capital Returns.” The article discussed how private equity limited partners (LPs) are no longer waiting for ideal market conditions to increase their returns and are finding new creative ways to change liquidity situations that, along with more stable interest rates, could be a catalyst for growth in 2024.
Brian, who chairs Morrison Cohen’s Investment Funds & Advisers Practice, said, “We have seen a pickup in real estate and infrastructure investment over the last year… Continuation funds remain very popular. We have seen clients pursuing them on multiple occasions… Discussion about NAV (net asset value) lending is also very common.” Brian noted that as we begin the new year, these are all hopeful signs that deal momentum will increase and return to normalcy in 2024.
