African Agriculture Completes Business Combination with 10X Capital Venture Acquisition Corp. II

Congratulations to our client African Agriculture Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: AAGR), a global food security company operating a commercial-scale alfalfa farm on the African continent, which completed a business combination with 10X Capital Venture Acquisition Corp. II, a publicly traded special purpose acquisition company, on December 6, 2023. In connection with the closing, the combined company changed its name to “African Agriculture Holdings Inc.” and listed for trading on the Nasdaq. The combined company is poised to capture a meaningful share of the $21 billion global alfalfa market.

African Agriculture’s CEO Alan Kessler rang the Nasdaq Opening Bell on December 7, 2023 in celebration of the combined company’s listing on Nasdaq under the ticker symbol “AAGR.” African Agriculture is the first pure-play U.S.-listed agriculture company operating in Africa.
