Daniel J. Studin Elected as Member of the Estate & Gift Taxation Committee of the New York City Bar
June 3, 2019 – Morrison Cohen Associate Daniel J. Studin has been elected as a Member of the Estate & Gift Taxation Committee of the New York City Bar. The Committees of the New York City Bar guide the Association's advocacy and activity, shape policy and frame debate on the pressing legal issues of the day. The Members of the Estate and Gift Taxation Committee address issues relating to estate and gift tax law. Activities of the Committee's Members include commenting and testifying on proposed tax legislation, sponsoring continuing legal education and other programs and participating in public service projects.
Mr. Studin's three-year term will run from August 1, 2019 through July 31, 2022.
Mr. Studin, an Associate in Morrison Cohen's Individual Client Services Department and a Member of the firm's Family Office Group, advises individuals and families on personal planning matters, with a focus on domestic and international tax and estate planning. Mr. Studin also provides legal counsel to individual and corporate fiduciaries in the administration of estates and trusts and represents donors and tax-exempt organizations in philanthropic initiatives and related governance matters.
