Morrison Cohen LLP Promotes Two to Partner, Three to Senior Counsel - Names New Practice Chair

January 2, 2019 – Morrison Cohen LLP today announced the promotion of Jessica L. Lipson (Intellectual Property/Corporate) and Aaron B. Lauchheimer (Business Litigation) to the firm's partnership.

Jessica Lipson is a member of the Intellectual Property Group and the Corporate Department, with a focus on technology transactions, intellectual property and privacy/data security. She represents clients purchasing technology, those obtaining and providing technology services and those licensing intellectual property, including software. Lipson also prosecutes trademarks, and regularly advises clients with respect to privacy and data security matters. She works with clients from a broad variety of industries, including Internet/e-commerce, mobile applications, entertainment, banking and financial services, accounting and audit, manufacturing, retail, IT, and others.

Aaron Lauchheimer is a member of the Business Litigation Department. He has extensive experience representing public and private businesses in a wide range of complex litigation matters in both state and federal courts involving contract, partnership and real estate disputes. He has significant experience in all phases of litigation, including obtaining temporary restraining orders, preliminary injunctions, as well as extensive deposition and trial related experience.

The firm also congratulates Daniel C. Isaacs (Business Litigation), Michael D. Mattia (Corporate) and Michael Mix (Business Litigation) on their promotions from associate to senior counsel.

Additionally, Morrison Cohen announced that Jason P. Gottlieb has been named chair of the firm's White Collar and Regulatory Enforcement practice group. Gottlieb is a partner in the firm's Business Litigation Department.
