Morrison Cohen LLP Names Jason P. Gottlieb as Chair of White Collar and Regulatory Enforcement Practice Group

December 17, 2018 – Morrison Cohen LLP announced today that Jason P. Gottlieb has been named chair of the firm's White Collar and Regulatory Enforcement practice group. Gottlieb is a partner in the firm's Business Litigation Department.

Morrison Cohen's White Collar and Regulatory Enforcement practice group represents corporate entities and individuals in investigations brought by a wide array of governmental agencies including the Securities and Exchange Commission, Commodity Futures Trading Commission, the U.S. Department of Justice and U.S. Attorney's offices nationwide, the New York Attorney General's office, and local district attorneys, as well as securities and commodities exchanges and self-regulatory organizations.

The group's subject area expertise includes securities; commodities, futures and derivatives; cryptocurrency; insider trading; accounting fraud; U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) violations; money laundering; antitrust violations; health care fraud; real estate; and bank, wire and other financial fraud.

Gottlieb's practice focuses on commercial litigation, arbitration, and regulatory enforcement relating to securities, commodities, cryptocurrency, futures and derivatives, and structured finance. He is the principal author of the MoCo Cryptocurrency Litigation Tracker and was named to the National Law Journal's inaugural list of 2018 Cryptocurrency, Blockchain and Fintech Trailblazers.
