Y. David Scharf Authors Article on Unintended Impact of Tax Reform on Hospitality Industry

March 7, 2018 -- Morrison Cohen Partner Y. David Scharf authored the article “Why US hotels Will Feel Unintended Tax Reform Impact” that appeared in Hotels Magazine on March 6, 2018.

Though the hospitality industry applauds the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act and predicts the tax reform will lead to growth, David cautions that the optimistic projections do not account for the economic impact of the complete elimination of deductions for business entertainment, which can have a significant negative impact on hospitality spending.  Click here to read David's analysis.
