Though the hospitality industry applauds the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act and predicts the tax reform will lead to growth, David cautions that the optimistic projections do not account for the economic impact of the complete elimination of deductions for business entertainment, which can have a significant negative impact on hospitality spending.
