David Saxe Appointed to Judicial Screening Committee
September 27, 2017 –Morrison Cohen partner David B. Saxe was appointed to New York Governor Andrew M. Cuomo’s Judicial Screening Committee for the Appellate Division, First Department.
The Committee examines, interviews and passes upon judicial applicants who wish to serve on the Appellate Division, First Department. Only those applicants who are recommended by the Committee are considered by the Governor for appointment. The Committee also examines, interviews and passes upon judges already serving on the Appellate Division, First Department, who are seeking renewal terms as well as applicants for the position of Presiding Justice when there is a vacancy in that office.
