Taco, Inc. Acquires CHOD Industries
On July 31, 2013, Taco, Inc., completed its acquisition of CHOD Industries, Inc., a Panamanian company, and its subsidiary, CHOD (Vietnam) Co. Ltd, a Vietnamese-based manufacturer of metal component parts for use in, among other things, vertical and submersible turbine driven pumps employed in a range of industries including agricultural irrigation, mining, municipal water supply, and HVAC.
Taco is a privately owned and operated company supplying a variety of hydronic-based equipment and systems for use in residential, commercial, and institutional buildings across the U.S. and Canada and in Central America, the Caribbean, the Middle East, and elsewhere, and pumps and ancillary equipment for use in agricultural and mining applications in the U.S. and Latin America.
Morrison Cohen represented Taco in connection with the transaction. Further details of the transaction were not disclosed.
