David is a Partner in Morrison Cohen’s Business Litigation Department.

David has broad experience in complex commercial matters, including contentious partnership and employment disputes, complicated real estate and construction-related matters, litigation involving investment advisors, private funds and their associated persons, and high-profile professional malpractice claims. David is a highly experienced litigator who understands the importance of efficiently and commercially managing litigation in an effort to achieve a client’s particular business objectives. He has extensive experience in all aspects of state and federal court litigation, from the pleading stage though trial.

David is a co-author of the commercial real estate litigation chapter set forth in the Fourth Edition of the multi-volume treatise, “Commercial Litigation in New York State Courts,” edited by Robert L. Haig, which is schedule to be published in the Fall of 2015. In 2010, he substantially contributed to the drafting and analysis of that same chapter when it was first incorporated into the Third Edition of the Haig Treatise.

Before joining Morrison Cohen, Kanfer was a partner in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice group of Tannenbaum Helpern Syracuse & Hirschtritt LLP.
