Tracy Sigal handles a wide range of corporate law matters and has particular experience in funds formation, having counseled private equity and hedge fund clients on fund launches in varying industries and size. Tracy works with her clients to draft organizational documents, including limited partnership agreements, limited liability company agreements, side letters and private placement memorandum. She also advises on a range of compliance issues and matters related to day-to-day fund operations.
Before joining Morrison Cohen, Tracy was general counsel and chief compliance officer at Stellex Capital Management LLC, a private equity fund with more than $2.6 billion in assets under management, where she oversaw the legal and compliance program. Prior to that, Tracy served as general counsel and chief compliance officer of Seneca Capital Management LP, an event-driven hedge fund. Tracy began her career as a corporate associate at Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel LLP.
