CLIENT ALERT - New York Department of Labor Adopts Rules on Permissible Wage Deductions

Although it has been more than a year since New York Labor Law §193 was amended to provide an employer with the right to make lawful wage deductions, the New York Department of Labor recently issued its final regulations that provide the necessary guidance to employers to ensure compliance with the new law.
